The Three Sacred Realms in Peruvian shamanism are rendered exquisitely in this brass statue: the curving serpent representing the lower, inner or deep world, referred to by some as the Unhu Pacha; the jaguar representing this present world of the here and now, or the Kay Pacha; and the winged condor representing the upper, higher or superior world, the Hanaq Pacha.
